Bill write about this photo:"My great grandmother and namesake, Amanda Lora Hudson, witnessed Abraham Lincoln's train procession at Albany, New York, on its way to his first Inauguration. She was so moved that she left her position as a teacher of a one room school and became a Civil war nurse. She even walked out of her church, calling her minister a "copper head" when he advised her to stay. I guess that was an expression that was equivalent to being a 'sell out.' She took it very seriously. Her name is memorialized at the summit of Little Round Top."
